Best laid plans…

Hello CD listeners…if you are a Tom Petty fan, that made perfect sense. It was a break halfway through one Petty’s CD’s, back when CD’s first came out, so that those listeners who had to flip a cassette or album could do so and not be behind…it was cute…you had to be there…OK, just take my word for it.

Well, the laid plans of mice and men…my pledge to blog everyday has hit major obstacles yet I shall endeavor to persevere.

Jim has helped me solve my blog software issues…thank you babe! Then came the toothache…that led to three days of excruciating pain that led to the penicillin that led to the reaction. This led to two trips to ER and a night of observation in one of Wabash General’s finest rooms.

I’m home now…doing better, but still have hives and swelling inside so breathing is still an issue.

Kudos to the staff at the ER and my excellent care during my stay… Everyone was so attentive and kind!

I’ve discovered through the years if having a chronic illness that when I hit roadblocks like this, it’s an opportunity for God to slow me down and see or hear what He has for me. Well, I’m moving slow and I’m listening.

While I’m waiting, share with me where God is moving in your life…your prayer concerns or needs…and I’ll pray for your situation as I recoup.

By the way, God…I did notice my favorite sunflower has bloomed…and is facing my way. Thank you!

    1. Yeah…when my lungs get better, I’ll call. I’m having trouble breathing still…I have hives and swelling on the inside of my lungs. But I’m ok.
